The Carroll-Grayson-Galax Regional Industrial Facilities Authority (dba Blue Ridge Crossroads Economic Development Authority (BRCEDA)) is organized under the Code of Virginia (Chapter 64, § 15.2-6400-6416) and is authorized to engage in economic development activities, including the development of Wildwood Commerce Park and the recruitment of companies to the Park. BRCEDA owns the 273 acres that compose Wildwood, including mineral rights. BRCEDA has been authorized by its member localities of Carroll County, the City of Galax, and Grayson County to develop the Park and to recruit companies to locate at Wildwood on the localities’ behalf. Wildwood is physically located in Carroll County that does not have zoning restrictions.
